About Us

Located in the Northwestern part of Orange County (La Habra, California), Root Academy is an afterschool academy dedicated to helping learners of all ages achieve their goals.

It all began when our director and founder, Hyunsoo Yoo, began to tutor students with a passion for teaching and helping students understand that there were no limits to learning. She is a graduate of the department of Economics, having majored in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University in South Korea.

At Root Academy, we focus on the academic growth of K-12 students through innovative and customizable lesson plans. All of our teachers are passionate, determined, and patient.
